Kal Cobalt is best known for fiction exploring the erotic borders between humans and robotic artificial intelligences. K.C. has also written gay male stories for national anthologies and two years of columns on sex, tech, kink, and genderqueer life.

However, the stark reality is that Kal writes whatever the muse insists upon, usually while surrounded by cats, tea, and "writing music," after fleshing out plotlines in various waiting rooms of the Pacific Northwest.
